Bio:

Wafaa Samir is an Egyptian artist who works and lives in Cairo. She uses her preferred medium, photography, to express her thoughts and ideas. Her work involves many themes such as city observation, self-actualization, identity and depictions of human feelings. In 2013 Wafaa earned her bachelors’ degree in Architecture from the Faculty of Fine Arts, Helwan University. Her passion for photography began in 2010 and since then, her work has been displayed in many exhibitions in Egypt, Belgium, Germany and France. In addition, she is the proud recipient of the Youth Salon Photography Award in 2015.
